團年飯 at Queenie’s house

I am very honored to be invited to Queenie’s Chinese New Year gathering Dinner (團年飯) along with her good friends.  Of course having dinner with the Aunties means perfect food :p  Most of them brought their own dish pot luck style, when I arrived, Queenie was already making hers.  While I was waiting for the dinner to get ready, I wouldn’t waste a second so I was taking pictures of her lovely cats.  More after, people started to arrive one by one, and Freda showed up with her dog Cookie!!!  Anyways, enough with the words, take a look at the fun we had tonight 😀

of course, as always, there are tons more on my facebook gallery here http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=327105&id=689775210&l=12ba341826

btw, here is the definition of 團年飯

Caught a mouse!!!

This morning after I woke up, I found a plastic bag was torn inside my home office, I was soo surprised and thought, it’s got to be a mouse inside the house.  But the question is, my office is on the second floor, how the hack a mouse could have found the way upstairs and not the kitchen?  Anyways, went to Canadian Tire, got a few mouse traps, setup everything and hope the traps would catch something…  But instead, I turned off all the lights in my office watching TV as I always do and the little mouse came out.  The scene was soo funny because I was looking at him, he was looking at me and no one moved LOL.  Anyways, at the end, I caught him with a small box ALIVE!!!  So guess what, a new pet for me 😀

P.S  his size is no bigger than my thumb so he is quite small 😀

Hotpot at Queenie’s House

After our cooking class this afternoon, we headed to H mart on Yonge st. to get food for the hotpot dinner.  One of the snacks they made was a deep fried silver fish which tasted amazingly good, another good one was the deep fried salmon fillet, they are both in the pictures below.  In case you were wondering what was that cat (毛毛) doing, well, he was playing with the bag and didn’t want to move at all, so I held the bag up and took a picture, hehe!  Of course, how can I miss taking pictures of 波波 and 豆豆 :p  Anyways, the night was super awesome, thank you all 😀

Dinner at Queenie’s House

After the cooking party at our cooking class, Queenie invited us to her place for a small dinner.  We did some supermarket shopping at H mart (Korean supermarket), then we headed to her house to do some more cooking :p  Of course, other then the dinner part, I was dying to see her cats 毛毛, 波波 and 豆豆, hehe!!!  I was soo surprised that fat 波波 and 豆豆 had a super cute hair cut too, don’t they look like mini lions?

p.s. those little dolls were made by Queenie with cooking flour, Corolla made those fresh salmon fillet and fried rice, oh and those coloring pencil look alike are actually chopsticks 😀

Queenie’s BBQ 2010 (靚靚師奶篇) – video (10 July 2010)

Watching a video is more fun than anything else, I brought 2 cameras to Queenie’s BBQ, I was taking pictures on one side, Corolla and Connie helped me record stuffs from the other, here is a video of their point of view 😀  Enjoy!

P.S.  I speed up a few parts to reduce the length cap on youtube, so don’t worry, there is nothing wrong with your player 😛
