I had talked about buying another monitor for a long long time to replace my Asus 23″ 3D monitor which I barely use the 3D functionality.  As usual, I love to browse around computer stores’ websites, in the very beginning I wanted to get a touch screen 27″ monitor but after I found this deal Samsung T27B750, 27″ LED HDTV Widescreen Monitor, not to mention it is also a Smart HDTV Monitor as well, for $295, how could I resist…so I had to buy it 😛  Samsung is doing a promotion right now and Canada Computers has it all, most Monitors by Samsung are on big sale right now so you should get them before the deal is over 🙂

P.S.  as a graphics designer, I noticed something right away after I fired up the monitor, the white balance and colour is a little off, but you can still tweak it, just takes a little time 😛

Thanks Eric for showing me this remote, I am loving it!!!  As most people know, Logitech had been making a few awesome universal remotes and Harmony Touch is one of the new ones that just came out not long ago.  I always questioned myself whether if I should get one or not, well, I just bought one after seeing it in action 😛  With all the TVs, Amps and etc. I should have bought one a long time ago.  Setup was extremely easy, only told me a few minutes online. Did I mention it would select the input sources for you?  Lets say you are watching your cable box and you want to play video games, all you do it’s to press a profile and it will turn off your cable box, switch to your games input on the TV, turn on your AMP and game console for you or if you are sick and tired of having bunch of remotes laying around, this is definitely a remote for you 😀

Logitech Harmony Touch

Today is my day off, so same as what I do every Wednesday, shopping time again hehe.  Went to Bayview Village today and found something unbelievably useful in Restoration Hardware, a Jar Opener – Designed in 1932, the adjustable opener is still the best way to get a grip on jars of peanut butter, jelly and more.  Didn’t really expect I would find something like this, soo excited when I saw it because I always had problems opening jars, well, problem solved!!!  Stop by there and have a look inside, you might be interested in some of their unique stuffs 😀

Yay, one of my black Friday purchases had just arrived, a Sony MDRNC200D (Digital Noise Canceling Headphones) – These premium noise cancelling headphones deliver pristine audio and remarkable digital noise reduction of up to 98.2%, plus their ultra-compact design makes them perfect for travel.  I always wanted to get a nice set of noise cancelling headsets if I want to listen to music in my rooms to avoid some of the ambient noise created by the fans (which I have them on 24/7)  If you are a fan of my blog, you should remember I bought a set of Shure SRH750DJ, I love them to death, and the sound quality is still way better to compare to this Sony MDRNC200D but they don’t have noise cancelling, sound quality is still very good, plus Sony had a sale so I just couldn’t resist 😀  But seriously, you can’t really find anything near for $120 with all the features included, or else you will have to pay way more to the next level of headphones which are mostly over $300.  Anyways, check them out while quantities last!!!

Sony MDRNC200D (Digital Noise Canceling Headphones)

Yes yes, another Android device in my house, call me an Android freak :-p, Sony Internet Player with Google TV (NSZ-GS7), something that will let me browse web, watch YouTube and tons of other fun stuff on my TV, not going to talk about the specs and features, just click the link above if you don’t know what it is :-p

I was dying to try out the Bluetooth remote control since it is the main key feature of the whole package.  Touchpad and everything are on the front side, and the keyboard is on the back, when you turn to the keyboard side, the touchpad disables, cool as hell 😀  Overall it’s just another Android device, one thing I didn’t understand tho was when I go to the Google play store, there aren’t a lot of choices like on my tablets and phones, I guess Google restricts a lot of apps for some reasons, especially I couldn’t really find any video players that would play .rmvb, .avi and others…  Well, that’s ok, I am sure someone out there must know how to, I just need to spend a little time to do some research to make it work, hehe.  If you are thinking about getting the most for your TV, this is really not a bad choice 😀
