嚼通天 (Win’s Seafood Restaurant) with Joe Sir and 靚靚師奶

Next week is our cooking class teacher Joseph Ho’s (Joe Sir) birthday, so as usual, we would organize some nice dinner out with most of the aunties from cooking class, of course Joe Sir and his wife.  Did a little survey, not a lot of people know about this place and I was there only once in the beginning of this year around Chinese new year time, you can read up on the post here http://www.karlng.com/blog/?p=3079.  Of course the decision was perfect, food was amazing and everyone had a wonderful time.  Anyways, enough with the talk, please take a look at the yummy pictures below because just by looking at those you know it’s a thumbs up for everyone 😀

More house parties + more studio test (4)

This party was all about the people from my cooking class and dessert class, gladly the teachers from both class (Joesph, Corolla and Queenie) can attend and even Mrs Ma (the coordinator from Yee Hong) was here as well 😀  It was just a very simple hotpot dinner but we had soo much fun chatting and everything 😀  Of course, I wouldn’t miss a great chance of doing more of my photography tests in my studio, anyways, here are some of the samples 😀

P.S. all the studio pictures are edited using photoshop :p

here are the rest of the pictures on my facebook http://www.facebook.com/media/set/fbx/?set=a.10150232273075211.354921.689775210&l=f32532f247

味香村 (Asian Legend)

Haven’t been to 味香村 (Asian Legend) (commercegate location) for sometime, made a room reservation there with a bunch of aunties to celebrate Christine’s birthday, some gifts exchange plus Miranda just came back from Hong Kong.  Tons of things going on that night, of course, food there is totally my taste 😀  Not to mention, if you have a chance to go there, you guys have to try out their different varieties of ducks dishes and you won’t regret I am sure 😀  Just take a look at those pictures I took, yummy!!!  Didn’t I mention they can order food online for pickup?  hehe

Hotpot at Queenie’s House

After our cooking class this afternoon, we headed to H mart on Yonge st. to get food for the hotpot dinner.  One of the snacks they made was a deep fried silver fish which tasted amazingly good, another good one was the deep fried salmon fillet, they are both in the pictures below.  In case you were wondering what was that cat (毛毛) doing, well, he was playing with the bag and didn’t want to move at all, so I held the bag up and took a picture, hehe!  Of course, how can I miss taking pictures of 波波 and 豆豆 :p  Anyways, the night was super awesome, thank you all 😀

On Joe Sir’s birthday/ cooking lesson

Our cooking class teacher Joseph Ho’s birthday is today and our cooking class is on the same day as well so a few of us planned a surprise party for him in class.  I was asked to make curry fish balls, Queenie made 2 cakes, Corolla made apple tarts, Joyce and Christine prepared drinks and fruits.  I was pretty happy with the smiley faces at the end of the lesson, just take a look at these pictures I took and you will know what I mean 😀
