Karen and Simon’s house is finally ready, what a perfect timing for a great gathering party on a labour day long weekend!!! I am pretty sure the happiest people there was the kids, just take a look at the pictures, and yes, tons of kids … Anyway, the weather had been weird the whole week, luckily, it didn’t rain when we had the BBQ. Canada Day 2011
I remember last year on Canada, we had a BBQ party in Cheryl’s house, this year, same place but take outs instead :p We figured we didn’t want to spend too much time on preparing food and we could enjoy the air conditioning inside the house since the weather is super hot… If you look at the pictures below, hope your jaw doesn’t drop because we did have lots of food and at the end, each one of us got to take home 2 boxes each, hehe Oh btw, thx the ladies for spending the time to open all the oysters for us 😀 and they tasted really good, special thx to Cheryl for getting those 😀

Potluck party + more studio test (5)
Well, while my parents are still away, the house parties marathon continues… This time was a Potluck party with the friends I used to work with years ago at Logic, everyone brought food that they made and we ended up having over 15 different dishes on the table, yummm… And you know what? It was also my first time having 5 children in the house, so of course I wouldn’t miss this perfect opportunity to use my camera on them as well :p Here are some of the best shots I picked for my blog, enjoy 😀

Dinner with friends @ 魚樂軒 again :p
If you are a follower of my blog, you probably know this group is my old work friends (Logic). Most of them had never been to 魚樂軒 and they had heard a lot of good things about this place, so me, Doris and Cherry decided to take them there and give it a try. This time, we went with a few of our usual dishes along with some different ones. Overall, it is still a great place for Chinese seafood no matter what we ordered, in my opinion, if you are interested to try out this place, bring more friends, lots of friends so you can try more different dishes and you won’t regret it 😀 Anyways, picture time 😀

Doris’s birthday dinner at Tony’s house
Doris’s actual birthday is in a few days but this weekend is a long weekend so we made it early. A lovely gift for Doris from me of course was to make a her my specialty cake, so I went to Tony’s house early so I would have enough time to prepare. Once I got there around 3, the food preparation was already started, seeing Tony and Jin so busy working on our nom nom made me realize we would leave their house with a 110% full stomach :p Of course, it wouldn’t work if only 2 people cooking for soo many people so when Doris arrived, she definitely had to show off her cooking skill 😀 and with their cooking power together, they made soo much good looking/tasty yummy food.
