Maxim Restaurant (美心餐廳)

Had dinner with a bunch of people including 3 kids… at Maxim Restaurant (美心餐廳) Richmond Hill.  We haven’t seen Thomas for quite a long time, since his wife just had a baby boy, so we decided to have a first look at their new born baby boy along with a nice dinner :p  The little guy was soo quiet most of the time which was kind of like a surprise for a 2 months old new born.  Also take a look at the food we had, mine was a 10 oz Sirloin Steak, it should have been medium but instead, it was more like well done, so next time if you go there, you should definitely ask for medium rare 😀  Other than that, everything was pretty nice 😀

Christmas Dinner – 25 Dec 2010

Where did I go on Christmas day?  Well, after soo many events and places to go in the previous days along with A1中文電台都市巨聲歌唱比賽 決賽 on Christmas Eve, I was totally drained.  I woke up real late because I had to edit the pictures and video so I could post the updates of last night’s event.  In case you missed it, here is a link to my blog post http://www.karlng.com/blog/?p=2913 and a full gallery on facebook http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=315090&id=689775210&l=de94ca1cb9.  Had a nice Christmas party/dinner at Karen’s parents house with friends, we ordered food from 潮洲館, Ichban and Rosanna made a turkey. of course, little Marcus was the happiest person out of all because he got to open all the gifts :p  Seeing him ripping paper wraps made me wished I could have done that when I was little :p  Anyways, took some pictures as always 😀

Marcus’s Belated Birthday Party

Marcus birthday was last week but he was sick so we made the party this weekend at Karen’s parents’ house.  A few more people should have come, but most were sick this week, so only the adults were at the party, left little Marcus the only kid :p  But you know what, he had soo much fun because we had soo many gifts for him, he was playing with the new toys like none stop after dinner.  Of course, it would not be a birthday without a birthday cake, a cake full of  Toy Story characters, just take a look at the happy face on Marcus’s face in the pictures 😀

Pumkin farm with friends

This week end is Halloween, so bunch of us (Karen, Simon, Marcus, Grace, Simon, Emily, Cheryl, Ruby and I thought it would be interested to go to a pumpkin farm at Major MacKenzie and Bathurst along with a few of their kids. There were soo many surprises, there was like a mini size amusement park there and soo many kids…  didn’t expect the weather was soo cold, everyone was shaking and everything, well, not the children thought because they was soo excited :p  Anyways, it was my first time ever being at a pumpkin farm so of course I would bring my T2i with me, let take a look at those pictures, and I am sure those can tell you more than words 😀

魚樂軒小廚

I have been in Toronto for quite a long time, tonight, Karen, Simon, Jason, Cheryl, Ruby and I tried this restaurant and it is probably the best Chinese restaurant I have ever tried in years, it is called 魚樂軒小廚.  Located at Brimley and Steeles.  Most of my friends know I don’t eat fish and lobsters, but you know what, I did try both in this restaurant and I totally like them all 😀  Anyways, to make the story short, you guys should go try it, the price is totally right and it is strongly recommended.  Here are some of the pictures I took and they should be very yummy to you all 😀
