Whenever there is food - Food is any substance[1] consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals. The substance is ingested by an organism and assimilated by the organism's cells in an effort to produce energy, maintain life, or stimulate growth.
Karen decided to have a little gathering dinner at her new house with just a few of us before Anita goes back to Hong Kong on coming Monday. Of course this was the perfect time to make a cake for Anita as my promised hehe. Many many thanks to Cheryl as well for getting those awesome Japanese food and oysters from a few places and they did taste amazing 😀 Over all, I guess the kids were the happiest because they had a whole living room of Marcus’s toys to play with.
As usual, there are tons more pictures on my facebook link here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150343195250211.394070.689775210&l=69723af19c&type=1

While Anita is still in Toronto, we decided to have a nice dinner with her somewhere and hopefully we could surprise her with something amazing, which we did :p INATEI Japanese Cuisine (稻亭日本料理) is located on 9021 Leslie Street, Unit 7 & 8, Richmond Hill (Hwy 7 & Leslie). This is one of those Japanese restaurants that I thought it would be crappy/too expensive but you know what? It turned out that it is as good as the other super high quality Japanese restaurants. As most people know, what to look for in a Japanese restaurant is freshness and presentation and they have both 😀 With that said, if you are looking for a Japanese restaurant in Richmond Hill, you should definitely give it a try 😀

Thank god the weather wasn’t extremely hot this weekend, at least there was wind and some clouds. We were hoping to have a BBQ gathering before Anita leaves Toronto before her long vacation ends in about 3 weeks. The kids (Anita’s daughter Ella, her cousin Evy, Karen’s son Marcus and Grace’s daughter Emily) really had a blast because they had an awesome time playing water, if the pool was bigger, I would have jumped in really :p And of course, many thx to Karen for all the yummy food plus she spent the whole afternoon cooking for us 😀

真東北餃子館 (Chinese dumpling House) located in Metro Square, a very small restaurant but with a big taste 😀 Had lunch there because it was recommended by a friend. Wonderful dumplings and food varieties, VERY INEXPENSIVE, perfect place for dinner. But for lunch, unless you want something really really heavy, Mr. don’t eat a lot here would have a lot of leftovers :p Also the another thing is, they don’t have a lot of noodles varieties like other restaurants do, but they do have tons of dumplings to choose from tho, over all, I like it :D. Anyways, just take a look at some of the pictures I took.
