Whenever there is food - Food is any substance[1] consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals. The substance is ingested by an organism and assimilated by the organism's cells in an effort to produce energy, maintain life, or stimulate growth.
Technically is not a cake because there is no baking involved 😀
1 1/2 Cups Digestive Biscuits (base)
50g Butter (melted)
2 cups Mango Puff (canned)
1 1/2 Cups Whipping Cream (35%, roughly 1 whole box small size)
1/2 Cup Milk (2%)
1 tbsp Gelatin
Mango Chunk (optional)
9 inch Round Pan
Base
1) put Digestive Biscuits into a ziplock bag and crumble
2) add melted butter into the bag then shake well
3) pour buttered biscuits into the pan and pressure it flat
Top
1) sprinkle Gelatin over milk for 1 min, stir over low heat until gelatin dissolved, set aside to cool slightly
2) add Gelatin and Mango Chunk (if you have) to Mango Puff, mix well
3) fold in whipping cream gently
4) pour Batter into Pan and Chill for 6 hours
5) add a thin layer of Jello (optional)
6) Decorate!!! 😀

After some time in Hong Kong, Karen decided to come back to Toronto to visit friends and family. Had afternoon tea with her at Phoenix on Bayview in the afternoon. Added comics captions (Comic Twist) for this because I think it is funny :p

Where did I go on Christmas day? Well, after soo many events and places to go in the previous days along with A1中文電台都市巨聲歌唱比賽 決賽 on Christmas Eve, I was totally drained. I woke up real late because I had to edit the pictures and video so I could post the updates of last night’s event. Had a nice Christmas party/dinner at Karen’s parents house with friends, we ordered food from 潮洲館, Ichban and Rosanna made a turkey. of course, little Marcus was the happiest person out of all because he got to open all the gifts :p Seeing him ripping paper wraps made me wished I could have done that when I was little :p Anyways, took some pictures as always 😀

One of our good friend Gary Wong decided to go back to Hong Kong for good, really didn’t expect he would go back and start everything all over again there :p Anyways, had a very nice hotpot dinner at 金稻 on Leslie with a couple of old friends like Tommy and Angel, very good quality of food if you are looking for an all you can eat hotpot place in Richmond Hill. Best wishes to Gary in Hong Kong in the future hehe 😀

Christmas is coming soon, so dinners and parties are almost fully filled on my calender this month. So 19th, Hotpot at Sunny and Karry, glad that Wilfred showed up as well, haven’t seen him for months, too bad some people couldn’t show up because of other plans :p Anyways, first hotpot in Dec, I am sure there will be more coming 😀 Thanks again to Sunny and Karry for the super nice dinner and here are some of the pictures including their Christmas mini town in the living room 😀
