Me, Cheryl and her mom went to see 戀愛猜情尋 (Chasing Love) at Living Arts Centre over the weekend. Here is some of the details of the play below.
邀請港加知名藝人一起參演，結合輕松情節與動聽歌曲的現代愛情音樂劇，道盡戀愛人生中的兜兜轉轉、尋尋覓覓、猜猜疑疑、悲悲喜喜、離離合合……教人充滿期待！
經過大半年來的醞釀錘鍊，
黃凱芹為這部愛情輕喜劇傾盡全力，
一如上次在香港公演的《白蛇‧青蛇》音樂劇，
黃凱芹除撰寫劇本及負責作曲填詞之外，
更參與道具、服裝、燈光、布景、音效等每個環節，
親力親為，甚至一手包辦哩。

Maggie and I took sometime to prepare and made some tasty beef jerky in the afternoon. And yes, I was the one that knows how to do it, and I was teaching Maggie how to, hehe 😀 In the beginning, I thought it was very difficult, took us 2 tries to make it just right and that made us masters now, lol Of course, it was always a pleasure having dinner with Maggie and as always, I would like to surprise Auntie with some new places that she had never been to, so I brought her to Moxies. Overall it was a fun night and not to mention I was a night before mother’s day, so Orlando, Vincent and Eric, I took your mom out dinner, I did take care of your mom!!! :p

About 2 weeks ago, a friend of mine from WoW told me that Museum Replicas made a replica of the Iron Man the Movie: Mark II Helmet, I was soo excited and bought it right away. There were only 250 made and I got the no. 229 😀 Here are the details of the helm below:
The next incarnation of Iron Man armor was prototyped by rogue turned world defender Tony Stark after escaping capture overseas. Now dedicated to protecting those who can’t protect themselves, the intrepid inventor built the Mark 2 Armor; a sleek, nearly invincible suit that allowed better mobility and protection. The thick, interlocking plates of this armor offer a higher degree of protection over the original suit from small arms fire, ranging up to light artillery. Integrated artificial intelligence grants extremely sophisticated tactical options, making the user a match against far superior forces. This experimental design is extremely limited to only 250 pieces. It’s expertly made based on Starks blueprints (which somehow got into the hands of Stan Winston Studios) of hand formed steel, fully padded and made from the original hero prop used in the film. This is sized accordingly, and although it is a wearable prop it will not fit most people. This full scale replica features a hand numbered certificate of authenticity and display stand. 9” tall x 13” long x 8” wide.

Last week, one of my best friends Raymond got a whole week off because of his wife Susan’s newly born baby, so we had time to hang out with him and his father also got to spend time with my god daughter (契女) Kate 😀 One of the high light was the walk to the park with Raymond’s father and Kattie, and from that day on, I finally know how exhausting taking care of children is. After that one day of playing with Kate (from 5-12am), I think I slept at least 9 hours that night and still woke up with sore shoulders and back. I am just glad that I am not a father :p
And of course, I also got a few pictures of my other future god daughter (契女) 🙂 Although Raymond and Susan don’t have a name yet for the little one, but they did mention and ask my opinion on the name Koey which I feel graceful about that 😀

I was bored the other night, so I called Sunny and Karry and found out they just bought Rockband 2, so I spent the whole night playing at their place. I was suprised how good the drum set is in RB2 and it is wireless 😀 Man, now I am thinking about selling my RB1 drum set and get the version 2 :p
