I am really not an Apple person but yesterday, I went to rogers to swap another cable box because my previous rental was defective and I found out that I was able to hardware upgrade to iPhone for only $159. Oh well, I was soo tempted for the video quality of it, so I did it, my first ever iPhone :p

Cheryl and some others decided to have a long weekend party, so everyone has to make something and I decided to make pork jerky since I haven’t made that in a long time. Here is the step by step pictures while I was making it today including the recipe , enjoy 😀

Last night, me and my dinner buddies Cheryl, Jason and Ruby decided to try out this NYS Steak Co. up in Stouffville Toronto because we saw their advertisement on a Chinese newspaper, here is their website www.nyssteakco.com We did expect the size of the restaurant to be a little bigger than we saw on the website, but it turned out that it is much smaller, to me, it does feel like a smaller version of a Milestone restaurant. Anyway, the food part… I know everything looks good in pictures but everything we ordered tasted horrible, the calamari tasted ok, platter tasted like Chinese deep fried beef platter, the linguine was not fully cooked and oh god the steak was soo dry and felt like eating cardboard… anyways, here are some pictures I took!!!
btw, once you got to the entrance, you will see a huge fridge with BEEF!!! Anyways, this is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to in Toronto…

If you want new stuffs coming in, then the old must go. I have moved to this house for more than 4 years now, the office chair in my office is getting really old since that’s basically the only place I hang out most of my day and night life. So the other day, I did a google search for office chair Toronto, and found this website www.officechairscanada.com , really didn’t expect too much when I saw the crappy layout and everything but there was that one chair I really like, so I decided to go and take a look in person. The showroom is very dark and old, didn’t expect much when I was at the door, but once I went in, most of the chairs on their site are on the showroom floor and my attention was locked onto the one I wanted to see. Here it is, the chair I bought and I strong recommended this place to people if you are looking for an office chair, price and quality is quite good, but just don’t get scared away when you see the front door of the store/warehouse :p

Ricky Ho visited Toronto this week, me and Sunny went downtown to pick him up and went back to Richmond Hill moxie on Hwy #7 tonight (27 Sep 2010) Thanks to facebook, I found Ricky thru friends there. He was my primary school classmate from Hong Kong, so I haven’t seen Ricky for at least 20 years, time really flys but good to see an old friend in person again in a foreign country 😀
