I was invited to Paulina’s daughter Joyce’s wedding dinner at Hilton Hotel along with a few of my cooking class classmates and our cooking Teacher Joseph Ho, also had a chance to see a couple of old friends Donnie and Cecilla there too. The ballroom setup was very nice, pretty chairs and tables, food was amazing and there was even live music as well. Oh oh, not to mention it was also Joseph’s birthday too 😀 Anyways, here is a few highlights of the night.

嚼通天 (Win’s Seafood Restaurant) with Joe Sir and 靚靚師奶
Next week is our cooking class teacher Joseph Ho’s (Joe Sir) birthday, so as usual, we would organize some nice dinner out with most of the aunties from cooking class, of course Joe Sir and his wife. Did a little survey, not a lot of people know about this place and I was there only once in the beginning of this year around Chinese new year time, you can read up on the post here http://www.karlng.com/blog/?p=3079. Of course the decision was perfect, food was amazing and everyone had a wonderful time. A Bday gift that was 2 months late :p
This package really took a long time to get here. Saw this on William’s FB around my birthday, told him I liked it so he went right away to get one for me and mailed it. Thank you soooooo much William!!! I should definitely mention William Tsoi is my best friend back in my high school days in Hong Kong, he still is and he was the person that brought me to Canada, so when are you moving to Toronto William? :p

The Lobster Trap Restaurant
Simon’s birthday was on last Tuesday, most of had some family business going on so we didn’t have a chance to take him out for a bday dinner so we decided to treat him one this week, The Lobster Trap Restaurant. Seafood is not really my thing, but this restaurant has a very wide variety of choices, surprisingly their Lobster Bisque was amazing… it was probably ye best soup I ever had in years, a lot better than my jumbo garlic shrimps dish :p Here are the pictures I took with a new lens I got :p

Gifts from Aunties!!!
Although my birthday had passed for almost 2 weeks and Miranda’s was a few days ago, we still managed to have a bday lunch gathering with our lovely cooking class classmates along with our teacher Joseph. The pictures below are the gifts, of course I love all of them because most are totally my taste :p, anyways, have to thank Corolla, didn’t really expect you would get me another transformer lego and the “The world’s hottest Chilli sauce” haha Queenie, for those lovely stuffs from Hong Kong and the miniature birthday cake that she made 😀 Miranda, for the Chinese herbal tea 😀
