The last time I was at 味香村 (Asian Legend) was about 8 months ago, the food was pretty amazing, here is the post I made http://www.karlng.com/blog/?p=2777.  This time, the food was even more amazing, tasted even a whole lot better, no wondered the place was packed with people.  Take a look at what we ordered, they don’t just look good, they taste very good as well 😀

Grazie Ristorante Italian Restaurant

Most people that know me well would know I love pasta, luckily Wendy and Kaline called me up for lunch to try some Italians 🙂  Good thing I only had to work morning on Friday :p  Grazie Ristorante, they do have 2 locations, the one we went to is located right outside of Vaughan Mills shopping center.  Once I got there, it was already packed with people but I guess that means it is a really good restaurant :p  Anyways, we ordered a salad, 2 pastas and a pizza, of course a dessert for the ladies as well.  I would definitely give a thumbs up for this because they really fit my taste hehe :p  Just take a look at those yummy food…

Kaori Japanese Restaurant

Kaori Japanese Restaurant, located at 30 High Tech Rd. Richmond Hill, Ontario.  Not really far away from my home, funny that I had never been there but now. It was really late when we tried it because me, Cheryl were helping Karen and Simon at their new house cleaning and painting and we totally forgot the time :p  Anyways, the weather was hot so we wanted to eat something not too heavy for dinner so we decided to try Kaori since I had never been there before.  The food presentation was really really good, just take a look at the picture below and you would know :D, tasted great and good service 😀 Strongly recommended if you are looking for a nice Japanese/Korean diner in Richmond Hill.

Tony 生日之小沙田食家

Doris had planned a dinner party at China town 小沙田食家 to celebrate Tony’s birthday.  We hadn’t been there for quite sometime, last time I was there was like at least a year ago, I still remember the food was sooo amazingly good and lineups at the door.  Anyways, I was kind of surprised that there wasn’t any lineups and the restaurant wasn’t even full.  First I thought, it could be because of the long weekend, but once we started eating, we know why…  Well, everything tasted OK, no surprise at all, and we could probably find any Chinese restaurants in uptown that have the same food quality or even better…  The worst part was the Crab fried rice, because we tasted bleach in it, yes bleach…  Not to mention the service was terrible with those “big circle” waiters and waitresses…  Anyhow, it was a thumbs down for all of us, no more 小沙田食家 for at least 5 years :p

On a bright side, we headed back to Doris’s place and had a wonderful mango cake as dessert, thx Cherry!!!

Sushi Couture

Nothing can stop us from trying all the good Japanese Restaurants in Toronto, tonight, a reservation at Sushi Couture, located in the heart of down town, 456 Bloor Street W :p  The dinner we had was omakase again, which we had to order the day before.  We had 9 dishes all together, so each one was a surprise and all of them tasted and looked very good 😀  For  $70, the whole dinner was way better than we expected really, but the dinner took us 3 hours because each dish was made by the main chef so I guess it was very time consuming?  Oh, not to mention I could probably make a better dessert than they do, hehe  Other than that, it’s worth every dollar we spent there.  Anyways, please take a look some of the picture I took, I bet they will make your mouth watery, hahaha!!!

BTW, here is their no. 416 5388618 if you want to make a reservation 😀
