Another backlog cleared, my favorite 3 GGeneration (BB戰士) sets that I bought decays ago, RX78-2 Gundam, RX77-2 GunCannon and RX75 Guntank. Although these sets are small, they do need quite a lot of work to …

Last week, I have learned a lot about cooking from all the aunties in a few places and there was also a BBQ party with them in my house last friday. Surprisingly, these aunties are sooo playful and I have learned a lot from them already. Sometimes I wished my parents were 30 yrs younger so they could do the same like these aunties :p But you know, hanging around with them will definatly gain me some pounds since their cooking is soo good at all time, so I better start my diet plan right now :p
After BBQ, me and some others decided to spend the night in a karaoke, since it was a last minute decision, it wasn’t easy to find a room that late but we got lucky and got one in MIX2 at 10:30 :p
It was a not very hot day and the weather was perfect for a nice BBQ. We had soo many people and kids, I am sure a lot of people put a lot of work to prepare the food and everything. It is always nice to have gatherings from time to time and sure was one of the greatest party I have had this year. Thanks Cheryl for putting up an event and hope there will be more to come soon :p Anyways, here are some of the pictures I took, enjoy 😀
The Mobile Suit Gundam Taneshi website reports that the Fuji-Q HighLand amusement park will open a new Gundam attraction featuring a life-size, 1/1-scale Gundam model. The Gundam Crisis walkthrough attraction is scheduled to open in July of 2007 for 800 yen (about US$7, or free with an all-day free pass).
40 attendees at a time can clear the different mission stages of
the attraction, which depicts a hanger on the Earth Federation-occupied Solomon space fortress of the first Mobile Suit Gundam series. The attendees play the role of a specially formed team that must gather data on the Gundam to upgrade it, while mysterious enemy mecha pursue them.
The Fuji-Q HighLand park is located at the foot of Mt. Fuji. A tie-in store will sell various Gundam goods including limited original goods exclusive to the park. Fuji-Q Highland had hosted Gundam the Ride, a multi-axis simulator ride similar to Disneyland’s Star Tours, on the same site until December of 2006.
At 18 meters (59 feet) tall, a life-size RX-78-2 Gundam can comfortably look into a five-story window, although the attraction’s description implies that its model will not be standing. Even though the attraction will advertise the exhibit as the “world’s first life-size, full-body 1/1 Gundam,” the city of Jiayi, Taiwan made a life-size RX-78-2 Gundam lantern for its Lantern Festival this year.
Other examples of large Gundams include a 2/3-scale LM312V04 Victory Gundam built at 10 meters (33 feet) tall during the 1990s, the 1/1-scale RX-78-2 Gundam bust in the Bandai Museum, a fan-made 1/3-scale MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam statue that stands seven meters (23 feet) tall, and the 1/1-scale Gundam F91 head that eventually made its way to San Diego Comic-Con International and San Francisco’s Metreon entertainment center before being sold to a private collector.
It was sunny with no clouds yesterday so Me, Cheryl, Karen, Simon and Marcus went to Kariya Park and took some pictures with our dumb cameras. Didn’t edit any of the pictures so I can test what my Sony T2 can really do and the end result was expected. Color was not rich enough and picture quality is not that good in outdoor but what can I say, it’s a cheap cam, so I am still happy about it after all 😀 Overall the afternoon was fun and all, it is really good to enjoy the sun once in a while especially in a park like this 🙂 Anyways, here are some of the pictures I took without editing anything, enjoy 😀
