Pre celebrate Jason’s Birthday at O Mei

It was the time of the year when we celebrate friends’ birthday over dinner, O Mei has always been a very solid Chinese restaurant for a perfect dinner.  Did I mention seafood is O Mei’s specialty as specially Lobsters, 4 different dishes can be made out of a 6 pound lobsters, but of course, they also have a great varieties of food choices.  I don’t think I need to say much about the food because everyone knows that it is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Toronto, tho we didn’t order a lot because we only had a few people but the choices we had was excellent as expected, eg. our super tasty lobster 😛  Oh, almost forgot to mention, they have very good Chinese style dessert too!!!  The night was amazing, being with good friends over dinner is always enjoyable and at the end of the night, we left with a full stomach, big smile and joy 🙂

Town Hall American Bistro

Previously, I put up a post Apple Granny Restaurant, which was a great restaurant find, and this restaurant was also another great find, Town Hall American Bistro, small town restaurant just located beside Apple Granny, 453 Center Street Lewiston, NY 14092.  This is more like a western fusion restaurant, very modern, tho the place is not very big but their food has a big taste and yet, very in expensive.  As you can tell from the pictures below, I have tried quite a few of their dishes already, they were all pretty good, soup was tasty, pasta was very creamy, steak was juicy, everything was quite my taste!!!  I don’t think this restaurant has been around for very long, not as packed as Apply Granny but this would also be a very good choice other then dinning in those modern chains restaurants.

Lina Linguinis Pasta & Grille

I love pastas, that’s why I love Italian restaurants.  Lina Linguinis Pasta & Grille, located in 111 Fourth Ave, St Catharines, Ontario, another very good place to dine in, packed with people at all times and strongly recommended if you are a pasta lover like I am 🙂  This might sound like it’s in the middle of no where but St Catharines is actually 20 mins away from Niagara Falls hehe.  Food was pretty good if you compare it to a lot of the big restaurants in Toronto or Niagara Falls area, a must try if you are in the area, not to mention, their prices on their lunch menu is are very affordable, the only down side to me is, the place is very dark inside, guess they try to make the place romantic or something 😛

Apple Granny Restaurant

What a great find, just beyond the Niagara Falls US border (433 Center St. Lewiston, NY 14092), less than 30 mins from Niagara Falls Canada, a little restaurant which has tons of hidden surprises and very in expensive, Apple Granny Restaurant.  I was told that this restaurant has been around for years now, very well known for the people that lives in the area, everything is home made style, great servers that made you feel like home, love the stuffed peppers ($0.75 ea) since I had never seen anything like that anywhere 😛  It is a definite place to eat if you are looking for something close to the US Falls area, but beware, because it gets really packed at night around dinner time 🙂

Antica Pizzeria & Ristorante

Antica Pizzeria & Ristorante a very home cooked style Italian restaurant located in Niagara Falls.  The design of the inside is very unique, walls and ceilings are covered with bricks, but overall, it doesn’t give you a dated feeling at all, instead, it feels very modern and comfortable inside.  They do have a huge variety of food choice on their menu, not pricey at all consider the area they are located.  I was totally tempted to order pizza because of their special oven but instead I chose my all time favorites pasta.  It turned out my pasta was made just right, texture and sauce was just the way I like it.  I would recommend this place if anyone is touring around Niagara Falls looking for a causal dinning.  Try out their pizza and let me know alright?  hehe
