No more Halogen GU10

Most of my friends know that I have tons of pot lights in my house and pot lights (Halogen GU10) uses a lot of energy (at least 35W each).  I was always shocked every time when I looked at my energy bill, so my parents and I usually don’t turn any of them on because of that.  But some time ago, I was introduced to some new LED GU10 that uses as low as 5W power and it’s even brighter than halogen.  Although I have tried a few different brands LEDs, none of them is as bright as the ones I finally got (500 lumens), it’s about time to step into the new technology :p.

I thought about posting a picture of the final result but you can’t really tell the big difference unless you see it in person, so instead I am posting an aftermath picture, the leftover halogen GU10 bulbs :p  This is a picture of what happened after over 100+ bulbs were switched into LED bulbs 😀

So if anyone wants some halogen GU10s, feel free to let me know 😀  Oh, and you might also want to ask, how much I spent on my LEDs, the answer is “don’t ask” :p  But if you are interested to change all your halogen lights to LEDs, let me know and I will give you a price 😀

TOMO SUSHI Japanese Restaurant

TOMO SUSHI Japanese Restaurant is located in Richmond Hill (Yonge st. and Weldrick rd.)  This is a restaurant that is a few blocks away from me, I have tried their take outs a couple times but never really got a chance to dine in it.  Luckily I got a perfect chance to go with a few friends so I could get a real good look and taste inside :p  We only had 4 people, so we didn’t order a lot but with just a few dishes, I was already amazed.  Of course it turned out as what I expected, food was very good and presentation was super.  Just take a look at the pictures below and yea, they taste as good as they look.  Oh, one thing I need to mention, if you dine in during sun down, the sunlight goes straight into the big windows which makes it a little uncomfortable with the bright light even with the shades :p  So go when its dark or before sun down :p 😀

Little Emilie’s Birthday

Time ran by fast, little Emilie is already 3 years old and Grace and Simon decided to celebrate on the Easter weekend.  I know it was a long day for them because they had to go to a Easter egg hunt thingie really early in the morning in Aurora.  Anyways, I remember there were soo many kids at Emilie’s birthday party last year and it was giving me a headache.  This year, not a lot of kids, which was a good thing because we could finally get to chat a little without kids running around like crazy :p  Overall, it was a very fun night 😀

草蜢華麗舞台演唱會 (Grasshopper’s glamour on stage)

The concert we were waiting for was finally here, 草蜢華麗舞台演唱會 (Grasshopper’s glamour on stage) located at Ricoh Coliseum and soo many friends were there too 😀  They started with slow songs then slowly moved into fast songs, at the half way point, the whole concert was already turned into a dance party and most people were on their feet dancing even the older people too, haha :p  Overall, it was a very funny and excited concert with a lot of old time favorites.  Too bad there was no encore at the end and because of that, after the concert was finished, we headed to Karaoke, since a few of us expected to have a late night concert and took the day off work the next day :p

Ironman mark IV – Secret Project 1:6 by Hot Toys

My first ever Hot toys action figure, Ironman mark IV – Secret Project 1:6.  I bought this sometime ago, never hard a chance to open it up since I was running out of display cabinet space but after a few days cleaning out some of the old display toys, I finally got it on display.  The figure is 12″ tall, fully movable including fingers, LEDs on most possible areas, and it is a limited edition 😀  Thanks to my friend Eric Sam introduced this to me, this might be my next big hobby in the future and it ain’t a cheap one :p

I am already looking forward to buy another one soon, trust me, the quality of Hot Toys is extremely good.  If you have the space to display it, you should get them :p
