I was invited to Paulina’s daughter Joyce’s wedding dinner at Hilton Hotel along with a few of my cooking class classmates and our cooking Teacher Joseph Ho, also had a chance to see a couple of old friends Donnie and Cecilla there too. The ballroom setup was very nice, pretty chairs and tables, food was amazing and there was even live music as well. Oh oh, not to mention it was also Joseph’s birthday too 😀 Anyways, here is a few highlights of the night.

New Fridge bitches!!!
Finally, out the old and in the NEW, $$$ well spent!!! Most of my friends know, my old fridge had a leaking problem for a long long time, and my parents wanted to keep it because they thought it wasn’t really a problem. What they had been doing was to clean out the drain pan every week, if they missed a day, the water would go straight down to the basement but even if they did it on time, the spills would still leak thru. For your information, the leaks had already damage thru the ceiling down in the basement for a long time, they just didn’t care about and all. Took me about 4 years to bitch and bitch, finally, here is my new Sub-Zero 😀
The disconnection took a long time, there were soo many things wrong about the old fridge, 2 legs missing, it kept shutting off itself from time to time for no reason, etc… Watching the people trying to take the fridge out the door scared the shit out of me because the thing is a beast, fucking super heavy and all. I am really glad that it’s fucking GONE now, oh, and one BIG advice, DON’T ever get a VIKING fridge because most have leaking problems, even the installer said so :p Anyways, I had to take some pictures while the guys were here moving the beast, here they are, enjoy 😀

嚼通天 (Win’s Seafood Restaurant) with Joe Sir and 靚靚師奶
Next week is our cooking class teacher Joseph Ho’s (Joe Sir) birthday, so as usual, we would organize some nice dinner out with most of the aunties from cooking class, of course Joe Sir and his wife. Did a little survey, not a lot of people know about this place and I was there only once in the beginning of this year around Chinese new year time, you can read up on the post here http://www.karlng.com/blog/?p=3079. Of course the decision was perfect, food was amazing and everyone had a wonderful time. Watch out for speeding tickets on Highway 7
Most people that live in Toronto know that there is a huge construction going on along Highway 7, it has been going on for weeks and you know what? Watch out the police on Highway 7, trust me, there are tons there. Here is a picture I took, the police was right beside me with a radar gun and right after I took the picture, maybe 30 secs after, he already stopped someone with a speeding ticket :p

Karen Ling!!!
A very short short visit, I never thought someone would come from Hong Kong and visits Toronto for less than 10 days then leaves… Well, there’s a perfect example hehe :p She was packed with appointments while here, AND I was SOOO lucky I could squeeze into her tight schedule and had breakfast with her at phoenix on Bayview :p
