The heat wave in Toronto is getting worse and worse. I am not sure if it was because of the hot weather here or what but something went really wrong this morning, the area around my work place had a power outage for 2 hours. Of course we couldn’t take the heat so we had a LONG break not staying in the office :p Anyways, here is a picture I took right after work inside my car using my iPhone.

Cranberry Walnut Cookies 蔓 越 橘 合 桃 曲 奇
材 料： ( 可 做 約 24 個 曲 奇 )
無 鹽 牛 油 ( 室 溫 ) unsalted butter 1/2 杯
黃 糖 brown sugar 2/3 杯
蛋 ( 室 溫 ) egg 1 隻
杏 仁 粉 grounded almond 1/3 杯
麵 粉 all purpose flour 1-1/4 杯
梳 打 粉 baking soda 1/4 茶 匙
發 粉 baking powder 1/4 茶 匙
蔓 越 橘 dried cranberry 3/4 杯
合 桃 (切 碎) walnuts 3/4 杯
做 法 ： 預 熱 焗 爐 375F，焗 盆 放 parchment paper 備 用
1/ 先 篩 勻 麵 粉、梳 打 粉 及 發 粉，加 入 杏 仁 粉 拌 勻，備 用
2/ 牛 油 加 糖 打 至 輕 軟，加 入 蛋 打 至 均 勻
3/ 將 ( 1 ) 加 入 ( 2 ) 內 ，輕 手 拌 勻，加 入 dried cranberry 及 合 桃，輕 手 拌 勻
4/ 取 約 1 湯 匙 粉 糰 放 parchment paper 上
5/ 焗 約 12-15 分 鐘 或 至 金 黃 色

If you are a fan of my blog, you should remember not long ago, I bought a Lego RC excavator. After playing it for sometime, I realized RC vehicles with belt drive are really fun. You can probably find something similar on ebay or some other toys online shopping sites from the states, but I had never seen it here in Toronto. Anyways, I had this in mind for sometime, I remember I even asked my friend Sunny at least over 6 months ago if he wanted one as well. To cut the story short, we both bought one from Rayco but different models. Oh oh, not to mention, it shoots out BBs and has a smoke module built in, tons of fun :p Price? Don’t ask :p Here is my achievement 😀

Few weeks ago, I bought a mini size double wings helicopter, didn’t really have the time to fly it since I had been busy. As most of the people know, the weather has been super hot in Toronto this week, and today’s temperature was at over 40 °c so it’s time to play something indoor :p This toy is not expensive at all, cost about $40ish, and I bought it from a friend’s friend Rayco. He sells all kinds of RC toys at his store up in Cookstown on the weekends. Once I have his website, I will let you guys know 😀

Kaori Japanese Restaurant, located at 30 High Tech Rd. Richmond Hill, Ontario. Not really far away from my home, funny that I had never been there but now. It was really late when we tried it because me, Cheryl were helping Karen and Simon at their new house cleaning and painting and we totally forgot the time :p Anyways, the weather was hot so we wanted to eat something not too heavy for dinner so we decided to try Kaori since I had never been there before. The food presentation was really really good, just take a look at the picture below and you would know :D, tasted great and good service 😀 Strongly recommended if you are looking for a nice Japanese/Korean diner in Richmond Hill.
