To celebrate Cheryl’s up coming birthday next week, we decided to treat her a fine Korean dinning at DAHN (Korean Cuisine), located on Yonge St. just south of 407. This Korean restaurant is a little different from the other ones because they provide you with tons of private dinning rooms, if you make a reservation with more than 5/6 people, they would let you dine in a room with your own privacy. Food is also very good but in my opinion, I like Bulgogi Brothers a little better but still, it is way way better than a lot of the Koreans restaurants out there already 😀 Unfortunately, there is one thing that we were not 100% satisfied, everything we ordered took a long time, even beverages… Other than that, everything is good so if you are looking for dinning place with a little privacy, this is actually a very good place to have a dinner party 😀

Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and the Beast, a very classic cartoon from Disney that had become an award winning Broadway musical which I was hoping to see for sometime. When I heard that they were coming to Toronto again, me and my friends booked the tickets right away no doubt :p The show was at the beautiful Four Seasons Center, a new/modern theatrical experience for all ages. I was totally amazed by all the powerful singers performing the whole musical and the stunning settings of every scenes. I would definitely recommend this for everyone, it’s a must see performance out of most musicals out there, a big thumbs up!!!
P.S. Photography of any kind is prohibited during a performance. Audiotape and videotape recordings are forbidden under copyright law. If anyone is found photographing or taping the performance, their photos or recordings will be deleted and they will be asked to leave the theatre without a ticket refund. :p

Canada Day long weekend BBQ 2012
We were so graceful that we had a super nice weather over the whole long weekend, perfect for the event that we had been waiting for, Canada Day long weekend BBQ tradition at Cheryl’s house. Tons of people, tons of food and of course, TONS of fun 😀 Something was totally different this year because in previous years, we had Cheryl, her mom and some other people preparing food but this time, only our master chef Macy prepared the amazing good food. Of course the outcome of the night was a success as expected, thanks Cheryl, Auntie, Uncle and Macy putting the party together for us 😀
As always, go to my facebook gallery to check out more pictures of the event here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151070615160211.485245.689775210&type=1&l=40d90a17b5

Bulgogi Brothers
Bulgogi Brothers is newly opened Korea based franchise restaurant up in Richmond Hill. Located at 140 York Blvd where all the restaurants are gathered. Bulgogi Brothers has around 30 locations in Korea and recently began expanding abroad, opening its first international location in the Philippines last year.
It was my first time having beef after I started exercising for weeks and it tasted soo good… compare to the other Korean BBQ resturants in Toronto, I would have to say this one is probably by far the best. Just like when you get bread and olive oil to start at other restaurants, Bulgogi Brothers started off the meal with a basket filled with traditional Korean snacks. The basket was filled with steamed corn on the cob, fingering potatoes and edamame. Not to mention the beef combination we ordered, served by a nice Korean waitress, soo yum yum good…
Super thumbs up for Bulgogi Brothers with amazing service and food, guess other Korean restaurants will have to work a lot harder from now on, and I guess Chako (in the same plaza) is already out of my restaurants list :p

Sashimi Dinner!!!
Last time Macy made a fantastic meal for us in Cheryl’s house, you can read my post here “Macy, the Super Cook!!!” and this time while my parents are away, she brought 2 HUGE fish to my house and made a sashimi dinner, just look at the size of that thing below :p. They were super fresh and yummy as expected, just didn’t expect Macy would know how to cut them right in front of our eyes. We were very surprised that the price was quite reasonable, with a trout, salmon and a box of uni for $110, I was like dreaming, lol. The whole procedure of the cutting part was very interesting and took some time, I really have to thank Macy for spending the time and made us a super nice dinner, the food was amazing, not only the sashimi but the beef and udon as well 😀
