Marcus’s Birthday Party

Time flies, little Marcus is already 4 years old.  This years birthday party was huge, tons of kids, adults and lots of gifts.  Not to mention we had to celebrate Darlie’s birthday as well 😀  Thanks Karen and Simon for the awesome party, they really did a lot of preparation and work for both the afternoon and the night part of the parties and yes, there were 2 parties on the same day with 2 different groups of people :p

Great Wolf Lodge 2011

I was a very very last minute decision really, I was feeling sick the day before and Karen found a new job which is starting next Monday, so she decided to go Great Wolf Lodge and grabbed me along while she still has the free time to enjoy this place with Simon and Marcus.  It was sunny but very windy the whole day but the good thing was it wasn’t much traffic on our way since it was a US thanks giving weekend.  It was our first time there and the place is amazing, more like a resort kind of hotel all in one thing, very very unique and tons of water slides inside the hotel.  I don’t know how to put it in words but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is interested in some water fun with friends, family and kids.  Didn’t take any pictures inside the water park itself but tons of them outside, so just take a look at the pictures and you would probably know what I mean by fun 😀  Enjoy!

Lang Lang 101 Pianists Workshop

Finally, got a chance to see the Chinese superstar pianist Lang Lang in person at Roy Thomson Hall, thanks to my best friend Karen :D, thank you thank you!!!.  Anyways, Lang Lang’s tour this time was for a few days of different themes and the one I went to on Sunday was called 101 Pianists Workshop.  Seriously, there were 100 pianists from age 6-16 on the stage with Lang Lang.  It was pretty amazing to listen to 101 pianists playing at the same time really, think about how rare you would have a chance to listen to that 😀 and of course listening to the super talented Lang Lang solo was super amazing as well 🙂  Here are a few pictures I took, please don’t blame me for Lang Lang being soo small because my seat was quite far away from the stage :p

Halloween Costume Fasion Show by Marcus

A good preparation before Halloween good, choosing the perfect outfit was a must!!!  I had dinner over at Karen’s house, and Little Marcus came out with an idea that he should try out all the Halloween outfits.  So there he was…

P.S.  At the end, he chose the tigger outfit for Halloween 🙂

AKABANE SUSHI 赤羽

AKABANE SUSHI 赤羽 located at Highway 7 and Bayview, right beside Loblaws on hightech rd.  Never thought I would have a chance to try this since that location kept changing names but luckily Karen and her family recommended this place, so we all went together.  ALL YOU CAN EAT!!!  Most of the all you can eat places tasted only ok…  but this place is actually not bad at all!!!  I know its a Japanese restaurant but instead of sushi and sashimi, I actually like their cooked food better :p  Anyways, if you have a chance, you have to give this a try really 😀  Here are the pictures 😀
