Chinese New Year is coming in less than 2 days, I was going to do some more house cleaning this afternoon, but instead, I went to have a hair cut then went to Karen and Simon’s house for a hotpot dinner (my favorite!!!). I figured, I will stay home ontomorrow anyways, so might as well do the cleaning Sunday and went out because of the nice weather :p Anyways, just a few shots from the hotpot dinner at their house :p

A casual Friday dinner with friends @Richtree Market, a restaurant I hadn’t been to for a long while. The one we went to is located at Bayview and York Mills, it used to be Marché a LONG time ago in case you don’t remember. I was really expecting the restaurant would be packed but instead, it was only 1/2 filled. I had a crepe with Italian sausage and veggies which was something I had never tried, nothing would go wrong with mussels in white wine sauce for sure, not to mention they have a Sushi bar there as well. Food wise is alright, it’s something good to have once in a while really :p When we were finished, it was still very early so I invited everyone to chill out at my place since Eric had never been to my house before. Anyways, a few pictures I took during the night, enjoy 😀

This Friday was a cooking class day off in between the previous and coming semesters, so most of the aunties and our teacher Joseph were available to have lunch together. I figured 黃金閣 would be a good place since they can really keep up the quality and it is close to mostly everyone. I am sure there will be more lunch gathering like this in the coming future, most of us didn’t apply cooking class because we were told to let more new students to join instead of us dominating it. Anyhow, it was a very fun afternoon, and the Chinese New Year is coming in about 2 weeks, we will probably have a gathering dinner with most of us soon, so stay tuned :p

Yet another party at Queenie’s house on New Year’s Eve, tons of people, tons of fun and of course tons of good food!!! I was very honored once again, got invited to Queenie’s house for this years new year’s eve party, and whenever there is a party with the aunties, it means there would be a 100% amazing good food no doubt. It was more like a pot luck dinner and everyone made something different, I didn’t have time to make any but there was already enough food for at least 40+ people really :p Of course it was a very memorable New Year’s Eve dinner thank to all the aunties especially Queenie for putting this event together. Everyone stayed chatting and waited for the count down of 2012 but for me, there was a part 2 of the night. Instead of staying at Queenie’s house, I headed to Karen’s house for the count down since they both asked me to join the same night :p As I predicted, with the game LEGO Creationary, it was hilarious at Karen’s place. It was a fantastic gathering party at Sunny and Karry’s house with a few old friends, especially Eric and his wife, friends that I haven’t seen for a long time. Although the party started a little late but the fun we had was unlimited, awesome take out food, I believe it was actually enough for at least 20+ people, so poor Sunny and Karry would probably have to eat those left overs for at least another week :p Futhermore we spent a lot of time chatting, talking BS and of course lots of drinking, then we spent rest of the night playing Xbox/Kinect that Livius brought. The time really flew by very fast, Livius even fell asleep on the couch while Sunny and I just kept on playing dance central until like 6 o’clock in the morning :p
