Asus Nexus 7

I have been a Google/Android fan ever since I bought myself an Asus Eee Pad Transformer about a year and a half ago, everything is way better out of my imaginations, making the WWW very handy.  Then an HTC phone to replace my iPhone, a Galaxy S3 last week and now an Asus Nexus 7, 4 androids in total :-p  I am just addicted to gadgets like these and I am digging them :-p  Anyways, now I can truly feel the power of a quad processor tablet and really, speed is everything in this world and I am very happy with this purchase even I don’t get a back camera, USB nor an SD card slot.  But if you are looking for a tab, this will probably last you a long time if you are just looking to kill time causal gaming or social chat with friends casually instead of sitting in front of your computer.  Now I wonder when my 5th android is coming, hehe :-p  Go get one if you don’t have one, it is not expensive anyways, $259 CAD everywhere in Toronto and you get $25 CAD for your Google play 😀

Samsung Galaxy SIII

I know I know, iPhone 5 is out and why the heck did I get an android phone again…  1, specs on iPhone is at least a year behind in this technology world, 2, my dad needed a new phone, 3, heard too many good things about the Samsung Galaxy SIII, 4, I had always been an Android fan ever since my switch from iPhone 4 to my HTC and it is WHITE, so why not right? :-p  A few friends asked me why not wait for Galaxy Note 2, tho it is coming out very soon, did all my research and I figured a Samsung Galaxy SIII would definitely fit my needs more and all those commercials… 😀  Anyways, it is not really a huge upgrade for me from my HTC but I have to admit, this phone is very good in a lot of ways, especially the screen and outlook :-p  Still need more stress testing on apps, ways to kill the battery and stuff but I already fell in love with it already and everyone should get one really hehe 😀

SE215 Sound Isolating Earphones

I bought this SE215 Sound Isolating Earphones by shure last week, yet another item added to my shure collection.  After getting my iPod nano to replace my iPhone4 (iPod nano for me), I decided to get a nice set of earbuds so I could use them while I run on my treadmill.  I didn’t really want to spend too much, thought about buying Bose but it’s not really worth the money really, so I went with shure since I am pretty happy with my previous purchase by shure (SRH750DJ).  I would totally recommend this to anyone because the sound quality is amazing, extremely comfortable, super cool looking with detachable cable, over-the-ear configuration keeps cables out of the way and the mainly the price is right 😀  Anyways, I started to sound like I am getting paid to say this but I really gave 2 thumbs up for my purchase and wanted to share this with you all :-p

ipod nano for me

After giving up my iPhone 4 to my dad for an android for quite a while, I really had to find a replacement i device so I could play music on my idevice hifi again.  I thought about getting an iPod touch but I knew I would just go through the jailbreaking process just like my phone again, which I know it’s not a fun experience.  So after doing a little research, an iPod nano would probably fit all my needs.  Now, I don’t only own a mini pocket size music player, I also own a brand new watch :p  Just take a look :p

Hot Shoe Adapter for my NEX-5N

If you know mirrorless DSLR cameras then you should know the problem of my NEX-5N, there is no hot shoe for flashes or other accessories.  It does come with a mini size flash but it’s just not enough for anything or you can get a bigger one for $199 with very limited flash power and flexibility.  Then Sony came out with a more expensive model NEX-7 (with a hot shoe), which is double the price of a NEX-5N.  Both cameras specs are very close and of course, the NEX-7 would have a higher bigger CCD sensor, other than that they are almost the same.  I wouldn’t pay $1400 for a hot shoe, instead, I am very happy with my NEX-5N but you know what?  Recently, a $30 aftermarket Hot Shoe Adapter just came out and it works like a charm, that just made me even happier, so beat that SONY :p
