Williams Fresh Cafe

There is Cora, egg smart and I just found Williams!!!  Yup, another breakfast chains restaurant I found in Niagara Falls.  I guess this chain is aimed for the younger crowd because its looks more like a starbucks that sells breakfast.  Never saw one in Toronto area but after being there once, did some research and found that it is a big chain that has been around for quite some time.  In comparison, food is way less oily than Cora or egg smart from what I experienced, prices are more reasonable and with a big variety of choices.  The down side is, it is extremely hard to find a table since most of the people are the younger crowd and young people loves their free WIFI, if it was starbucks, sitting around having a coffee doesn’t take long but when you are having a meal with WIFI, it would take people forever to leave their chairs…  The true is, it is very comfortable to have a nice brunch in this environment, good place to hang out with friends and their tablets/laptops hehe.

Royal Princess (East Caribbean Cruise)

Second time going on a cruise and this time, I went with Princess Cruises. Royal princess is the name of the ship a~d it was only 1 year old. First land stop was called Princess Cays, which I believe is a Princess owned island, looks pretty I say, perfect to just relax and do nothing LOL, second land stop was St. Thomas, lots of pretty landmarks and third land stop was St. Marten, very pretty beaches and huge shopping area. The rest of the days were just staying on board and getting sun burnt LOL. Over all experience was alright, food was fantastic, but not so happy about the service plus got stuck in the elevator twice and no one helped… shows were not the greatest considered they should be the main features of the ship… but after this trip, I know I won’t be going with process again unless I get to at least age 60s because there isn’t a lot of activities going on for younger generations compare to Royal and basically all we did was drinking and shopping…

Anyways, in case you are wondering how my packing was for this trip, it was very easy because I just followed my packing list from last year’s Caribbean Cruise Experience, so it was a piece of cake 😛

Thai Villa

Apparently, Thai Villa has been around for a long time in Aurora, seems a little far for a lot of people but it was really worth a visit.  A little small gathering with my friends before my cruise trip, also a perfect time to try out something that I don’t eat all the time 😛  I was told that the chicken dish we had was a special order which turned out to be a very good choice.  I was expecting it would be very oily on everything but everything turned out alright!!  Fried wings were perfectly seasoned, curry tasted just right, noodles was very well made tho the assorted dish was a little on the dry side but the whole meal was very satisfying.  Just take a look at the pictures I took below and you will probably agree with what I said 🙂

Caplansky’s Delicatessen

First time ever tried a restaurant that I saw on “You Gotta Eat Here” on food networkCaplansky’s Delicatessen, located in downtown Toronto.  Man, I can tell you I am not trying those choices from them ever again.  Went there in the morning around 10ish, got there and realized the location wasn’t impressive at all, tho they do have a lot of choices that sound very good in words in their menu, so we tried…  Turned out that our brunch was served cold and there were only 3 tables of people inside?! ummm…  Not to mention my “the Geddy” was a little watery/oily and we had to pay over $30 when we left the restaurant?!  Well, you never know how bad a restaurant is unless you try it right?  Now I know, and you know what TV can make restaurants LOOK really good 😛

Fraticelli’s Italian Grill

Yet another chains restaurant, Fraticelli’s Italian Grill (Leslie st. & 16th Richmond Hill).  Read a lot of good review of the place, they also won a diner’s choice 2013, so I decided to try it myself to see how good this place really is.  The restaurant is very modern, similar to Moxie’s or some other new chains out there, not too noisy, seemed like a very good place to chat with your love ones kind of place.  Food was only alright tho, I ordered my all time favorite, pasta, but it turned out that its was only so so, pasta was under cooked, taste wise was a little on the salty/sour side…  A little over priced so over all experience was some what disappointing, this is a restaurant that I would not recommend people to go because I just don’t think it will survive for long when there are soo many good places in the same area.  Sorry Fraticelli’s 😛
