Marcus’s Belated Birthday Party 2012

Marcus is not little any more, he just turned 5!!!  Since everyone was busy on his actual birthday, the party was postponed to Sunday instead afternoon with only selected people and surprisingly the big cook this year was Simon, he made ton food for us 😛  Just take a look at the pictures and you would know how good he is on making pizzas and wings, not to mention he made a 6 layers rainbow jello too hehe.

Well, these kids are getting older, somehow the cuteness is shifting away, unlike the previous years when these parties still had a touch of cuteness involved in these guys, but the most fun was from little Valarie now because she just started talking and dancing :-p  Great party overall 😀

Side notes:  Jason couldn’t be there because he was sick that day, probably because of the cold weather, everyone was kind of weak, tho Emily wasn’t feeling well at the party either.

FAQ:
Q: When I Curve a word, how can I modify the prediction?
A: Tap on the word and reselect the modification.
Q: When I upgrade to version 5, how come my language packs are not working?
A: Pls uninstall the old language packs and then download the new language packs from TouchPal Settings-> Languages.
Q: Why does it need Internet/voice/contact access?
A: It will check updates and download language packs. It does have speech recognition (for some models). And it will import contact names into the dictionary (in some languages).

Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill

While we were at Bayview Village shopping, of course we had to find something to fill our empty stomachs, Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill, the very first restaurant when you enter the shopping mall.  This large urban space feels very downtown despite its North Toronto location. A gleaming open kitchen extends into the airy dining room, featuring washed tin ceilings, leather banquettes and dramatic and distinctive light fixtures.  I strongly recommend this place because of their nice constructions inside which makes you feel very causal and formal at the same time.  Food wise, 2 thumbs up!!!

Sorry for the shaky food pictures, I didn’t realize until now, guess I was really hungry 😛

Santa Claus light-up pin

I was clearing up my desk at home and realized I totally forgot to mention about this cute purchase and I have to share it with you all!!!  A Santa Claus light-up pin I bought from Teatro Verde – was first opened as a home and garden lifestyle store, then expanded their product lines to many many different varieties throw all their locations.  If you are looking for gifts ideas for this holiday season, this is a perfect place to get your friends and relatives the gift of their lives, well, that’s a little too far but you get the idea.  They do have a lot of very unique gifts ideas, so go check it out at Bayview Village too 😛  Don’t be surprised if you see me wearing this pin this holiday season because it is really perfect for Christmas, oh and not to mention there are different styles too, Mr. Snowman, Christmas tree and Penguin!!!  Anyways, Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

Jar Opener (by Restoration Hardware)

Today is my day off, so same as what I do every Wednesday, shopping time again hehe.  Went to Bayview Village today and found something unbelievably useful in Restoration Hardware, a Jar Opener – Designed in 1932, the adjustable opener is still the best way to get a grip on jars of peanut butter, jelly and more.  Didn’t really expect I would find something like this, soo excited when I saw it because I always had problems opening jars, well, problem solved!!!  Stop by there and have a look inside, you might be interested in some of their unique stuffs 😀
