LEGO Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 1:10

The day has come, my LEGO Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 1:10 is finally here!!!  A little story about this LEGO, it was released back in 2007, a limited edition and there is no way you can find it in stores now.  When it first came out, I really really wanted to get it, but too much thinking made it all gone everywhere and left me only regrets…  The price on eBay was going up every day so I thought, I would never get a chance to own this…  BUT, many many thanks to Cheryl for hooking me up with this deal, the whole process took a few months because this package was actually from Hong Kong by ship :p  Enough with the talk, time to open this set and enjoy it over the weekend!!!  Woot!!!

Miller Tavern to celerate Karen’s Bday

Karen’s birthday is next week, we decided to celebrate it early on this weekend to a fine dinning restaurant.  We picked out a few but most of them were full because of St. Patrick’s day but at the end, we got seats at Miller Tavern located at Yonge st. and York Mills rd.  Never been there but it’s sure very unique because you only see that 2 storey building in the corner and nothing else around it, so there is no way you would miss it :p

They don’t have a huge variety of food choice, the menu is quite simple as 2 pages and we didn’t need a lot of time to think what we wanted :p  Anyways, when the dishes came, I already knew everything would be amazingly good just by the looks and as expected, taste was really good.  We ordered 3 different steaks dishes cuz they are all VERY good as told, the black cod was also a surprise too, and you know what?  I haven’t had dessert for a LONG time and I decided to order one because we had the confidence to try everything there :p  Anyhow, the whole night was fun and all, I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone if you are looking for a nice dinner out, one hint tho, the price is not cheap :p

My experience with North York Chrysler Jeep (part3)

The story goes on… another follow up post from My experience with North York Chrysler Jeep and My experience with North York Chrysler Jeep Continues… + Misc.  I really didn’t expect this but they did send me a survey to fill out after everything that happened and I thought, they just wanted to make the hole even bigger, deeper and more damage to their reputation really…  Anyways, the survey is like 8 pages as shown in the picture below AND they sent me a cheque?!?  With all the cars I have bought over the years, first, I had never seen a survey this long, second, came with a fucking cheque?  For fucking $2?  Seriously, 2 bucks to do a survey?  Everybody knows that how I am going to rate them, unsatisfied all the way, that’s exactly what happened.

There is one question in the survey that I really want to mention here

Q:  Overall, how do you think your dealer experience could have been improved?

A:  Fire the lame Sales Manager “Sxxx Bxxxxx”, then people will be a lot more satisfied!!!

Valerie

It was Valerie’s 1 year old birthday a couple weeks ago and I invited Rosanna, David and little Valerie to my basement studio to have some pictures taken.  It was my very first time having a studio session with a 1 year old, it would have been a mess if I didn’t have any helpers there, so many thanks to Karen and little Marcus.  They also brought their own babies toys and clothes to make this event happen, took David 4 rounds to get everything from the car so you pretty much have an idea how much preparation that was.

How hard it is to take photos for a 1 year old?  Seriously, I thought it was easy but after the first 10 mins of the photo shoot, I realized there were a few issues that I wasn’t aware of, e.g. babies crawl super fast, they will not listen to you and super hard to get the right facial expression etc.  And after 2 hrs of the photo shoot, 550 pictures were taken, everyone was exhausted, Valerie even felt asleep right after. Anyways, I finally got the time to pick out the right pictures for my facebook and blog, they actually turned out pretty good considering that was my first time :p

Super Cook Karen!!!

Yet another weekend gathering @ Karen and Simon’s house, me and a few friends were invited over for a nice home made dinner.  She is already an amazing cook no doubt, maybe its the generic because her mom is a great cook too :p  I got there a little earlier than the others so I was watching the whole progress and she really made all those dishes looked extremely easy.  Seriously, with Karen and all other friends with amazing cooking skills, I really should learn from them and hopefully I could be that good someday 😀  Anyways, enough with the talking, lets take a look at all the dishes she did for us all by herself tonight and would probably make you go WOAH.

BTW, that lobster is over 5 lbs, just look at the size of those huge claws, really not easy to work with in my knowledge.
