Marcus’ 7th Birthday 2014

Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday Dear Marcus
Happy Birthday to You.

Time flies lightning fast, Marcus is already 7 years old.  It was another big party at the grand parents house where could hold tons of people and balloons 😛  Not only that Marcus is getting bigger, so was the ice-cream cake which could easily feed 20+ people and the gifts of course, hehe.  It really was a day for the kids, they were mostly running around, yelling and screaming, not a good scene when you are not used to being around kids (talking to myself here…).  The party was supercharged with happiness and energy, our takeout food tasted even better because of that too (it’s true, hehe).  Oh oh, and we were so happy to see Cindy and her little baby girl as well, yay 何P!

Grace + Cindy’s Birthday party at Cheryl’s

Perfect timing at a perfect place, finally we could have a small little house party with only friends :-P, our lovely Cheryl provided her place to have a celebration for Grace’s birthday and Cindy’s coming soon.  The most funny part was, it was Grace that asked for a party herself at Cheryl’s and she even bought herself a cake LOL.  Big thanks to Cheryl for letting us mess up her place, Karen for making us a super yummy ox tail pot, Ruby for her tasty chicken wings and of course, the kids for not bothering us at all, and of course Grace for buying us a cake, not breaking anything LOL.  We really enjoyed the chatty night, something that we haven’t done for quite a while and hope that there will be more to come in the near future just like the old times 🙂

Wishing Grace and Cindy a Happy happy birthday and everyday will be better and better 🙂

SONG Cook’s

Anita and her daughter came back to Toronto for a short visit, so we decided to call our long lost friend Cindy to join us for a small gathering dinner at SONG Cook’s located on Yonge and Steeles W, one of my favorite kind of restaurant, Korean!  Yay!!!  Most people know, I love spicy food, so I couldn’t wait to try this place out 😛  Entrance looks very unique, inside is spacious and you also get to choose to sit at the regular tables and chairs side or tatami (a type of mat used as a flooring material in traditional Japanese-style rooms)

Well, this is spicy food, so I am going to say everything taste delicious right off my head even I haven’t put anything into my mouth HAHA.  But really, everything tasted extremely good, noodles (JengBan JaJang) was chewie, just the way I like it, pork ribs dish (MuGunji Pork Ribs) tasted amazing, the pig foot (Five Spices Jokbai) was totally different from anything I have tried and tons more…  I love this place, not only because of the yummy food, also because of this place DOESN’T smell 🙂  Definitely have to try this place if you are craving Korean 😛

Ricky was here!!!

Glad to see Ricky came back to Toronto for a short visit, I don’t even remember when he left Toronto but this was a perfect opportunity for some old friends reunion.  Years ago, a small group of our friends went back to Hong Kong then people started going different directions, so quite a lot of people that we haven’t seen for a long while.  Anyways, we decided to have our old friends gathering dinner at Moxie’s.  The night was awesome, we tried to catch up everyone and stuffs, reminds me of old times having poker nights and hanging out together.  Oh and big congratulations to Cindy of her pregnancy too!!!

P.S.  for those of you that want these pictures in full resolution, you can download the files here https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_mlqvrXUFhGWW9NQWVvbUZ2UGc/edit?usp=sharing
