Connie’s African Violets

First time in my life to see someone that is soo professional on planting African violets and other flowers, I can’t really describe the setup and craziness.  Here are the pictures of the rare ones at Connie’s house, they don’t look anything alike from the ones you can buy from the stores 😀

Aren’t they beautiful?

Surprise visit from an old friend :D

Surprise visit from an old friend, who?  An old primary school classmate Clara Tam, we haven’t seen each other for at least 24 years, if you remember, I had a post http://www.karlng.com/blog/?p=1869 about Ricky Ho’s visit, who was also Clara’s classmate at one point.  Why was it a surprise?  She sent me a message on facebook on Wednesday night, and was in Toronto on Thursday, so do you call it a surprise then?  hehe.  Anyways, me and Sunny took her to my favorite place (Moxies) for a delicious dinner on Friday, then we came back to my house to play around in my studio and waited for Raymond to show up.  Of course we took some group pictures together, but we had to shoot using a timer shutter and of course, we created some hilarious pictures to show you, more like bloopers :p

BTW, we are really happy to see old friends that would like to come visit us in Toronto, if any of you want to come visit us, you are always welcome to 😀

Sushi Couture

Nothing can stop us from trying all the good Japanese Restaurants in Toronto, tonight, a reservation at Sushi Couture, located in the heart of down town, 456 Bloor Street W :p  The dinner we had was omakase again, which we had to order the day before.  We had 9 dishes all together, so each one was a surprise and all of them tasted and looked very good 😀  For  $70, the whole dinner was way better than we expected really, but the dinner took us 3 hours because each dish was made by the main chef so I guess it was very time consuming?  Oh, not to mention I could probably make a better dessert than they do, hehe  Other than that, it’s worth every dollar we spent there.  Anyways, please take a look some of the picture I took, I bet they will make your mouth watery, hahaha!!!

BTW, here is their no. 416 5388618 if you want to make a reservation 😀

Potluck party + more studio test (5)

Well, while my parents are still away, the house parties marathon continues…  This time was a Potluck party with the friends I used to work with years ago at Logic, everyone brought food that they made and we ended up having over 15 different dishes on the table, yummm…  And you know what?  It was also my first time having 5 children in the house, so of course I wouldn’t miss this perfect opportunity to use my camera on them as well :p  Here are some of the best shots I picked for my blog, enjoy 😀
