Home Photo Studio Setup
My parents are on their way back to Hong Kong right now, I dropped them off the airport this afternoon and went to Vistek right away to get these… A pair of professional soft box flashes, a set of backdrop stands, backgrounds (with a few different colors), and a Canon 580 EXII flash :p I wanted to do this a long time ago, just didn’t have a chance but I did it, take a look at my setup :p
I thought about doing studio pictures for living part time but not sure yet :p but I will need practice, I will keep doing my web/graphics stuffs but this seems more interesting :p If you are interested to have a few pictures taken, let me know :p

Photo tests with new flash and led lighting
This week, I borrowed a Canon flash 430 EXII and a LED light from Raymond, so I did a little test this Sunday on my camera. From what I had been testing so far, a professional lighting is really needed for indoors, just take a look at the result 😀 Don’t forget, a little professional PS skill was added :p
Definitely have to thank Raymond for lending me the lighting stuffs so I can do some tests and Cheryl for being my model this weekend, I will keep on doing more tests and hopefully I will come up with more better ones in the coming weeks 😀

Dinner with friends @ 魚樂軒 again :p
If you are a follower of my blog, you probably know this group is my old work friends (Logic). Most of them had never been to 魚樂軒 and they had heard a lot of good things about this place, so me, Doris and Cherry decided to take them there and give it a try. This time, we went with a few of our usual dishes along with some different ones. Overall, it is still a great place for Chinese seafood no matter what we ordered, in my opinion, if you are interested to try out this place, bring more friends, lots of friends so you can try more different dishes and you won’t regret it 😀 Anyways, picture time 😀

Asus 3D monitor with Nvidia 3D glasses combo :D
God, I couldn’t resist when I saw this, yes yes, it’s just a gimmick but I bought it anyways :p It’s an Asus 3D monitor with Nvidia 3D glasses combo 😀 from Canada Computers, very good deal and here is the link from their site http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_699_292&item_id=032642 Well, it was sort of a downgrade for me from a 24 inch to a 23 but it was well worth it because the monitor is a lot nicer in colors and brightness and of course, playing World of Warcraft with both is super awesome really 😀 Here is a picture of my achievement :p

Fin – izakaya – authenic Japanese Izakaya in Midtown
Fin – izakaya is another really nice Japanese restaurant in Toronto. Karen’s birthday is coming real soon, so we decided to treat her a really nice dinner. Cheryl had been there a few times but it was my first time there, I was already excited when I saw the front door of the restaurant and once we went in, you could actually feel the Japanese spirit is in there 😀 We ordered a lot of food even there were only 5 of us including Marcus but surprisingly we finished them all hehe. But sadly, I was not surprised with the raw fish because I think you could find the same quality in most Japanese restaurants, tho, the surprising part was the cooked food, they all look and taste really good 😀 Anyways, here are some of the photos I took below:
