It is that time of year when I have to waste some of my Sony points.  A Sony ActionCam, A mountable POV camera matches Carl Zeiss® optics with a rugged exterior that can take on mud, snow and water. So go legend, record it all in HD!!!  I know you would probably ask why not a GoPro?  I know GoPro has good reviews, some even said the video quality is the best and everything, but I did a lot of research on YouTube where people post their video comparison, I totally adore what everything Sony ActionCam has to offer, 4X slow-motion, full HD WiFi, amazing night recording!!! and much more, not to mention the price is soo affordable too.  I will try to make some videos with it soon, I already did a few tests and I am very very happy with it, might even try to mount the cam outside of the car and make some highway videos as well, will see 🙂

BTW, Sony is doing promotion on a few things, ActionCam is one of them if you want a good price now 😛

華星餐廳 (Chi Star House)

華星餐廳 (Chi Star House) is located in 美食坊 9021 Leslie St. Unit 5-6. Richmond Hill, forgot what it used to be but this place was pretty packed when we went in.  When a restaurant is always packed on weekdays, it means the place is good, I am soo glad we tried it because it is not only a Hong Kong style (港式餐廳) restaurant and they also have combo dishes (和菜).  Take a look at what we ordered in the pictures below, don’t they look amazing?  Well, they taste pretty good too, the soup was a little on the salty side but other than that, everything was cooked just the right the way for our taste buds 😀  If you are looking for a casual Chinese diner in the area, this is really a good option to consider, price is not bad either, but do expect a line up at the door or you can call them at 905-771-8880 to make a reservation.

P.S. one thing noticed too, I didn’t see a take out menu inside but they do take takeout orders.

Ricky was here!!!

Glad to see Ricky came back to Toronto for a short visit, I don’t even remember when he left Toronto but this was a perfect opportunity for some old friends reunion.  Years ago, a small group of our friends went back to Hong Kong then people started going different directions, so quite a lot of people that we haven’t seen for a long while.  Anyways, we decided to have our old friends gathering dinner at Moxie’s.  The night was awesome, we tried to catch up everyone and stuffs, reminds me of old times having poker nights and hanging out together.  Oh and big congratulations to Cindy of her pregnancy too!!!

It’s finally here!!!  This is something I wanted to learn a long long time, I just can’t believe I finally bought one from Amazon.  From  what I found on YouTube, this should be pretty easy to learn, but after I put together all the parts, I gave a few tries, its not easy at all LOL.  Anyways, it will probably take sometime to master it for sure, and a few friends even offered to buy me a red nose while I am in the learning process, well thanks for the offer, I am sure a clown look won’t speed up the learning 😛  Anyways, I will try to blog about the process cuz I think it should be fun, hehe.  Anyhow, just wanted to share this new toy with you all!!!

Download videos and musics from YouTube, no add-ons needed!!!

Watching YouTube has become a day to day routine for a lot of people these days, you can even find TV series or movies sometimes but don’t you get sick of watching it on a browser?  Wished you could just download the whole movie or even just download the musics onto your memory cards and watch it from a media box on your TV or put everything on your smart phone instead?  This method is perfect for downloading those Web series youtube videos and watch them over and over again 😛  There used to be some add-ons for your browsers to do that but did you guys know you can actually do that by just adding ss right after www. of the video you want to download?  for example www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=XYZABC, it will redirect you to http://en.savefrom.net, then just click on the quality you want and viola, it’s done!!!  But if you wish to download the files in HD quality, I would recommend you to get the addon for your browser, just one click and you have the file 😛

One thing I want to mention too, the videos you are watching on YouTube from a browser were already rendered into flash format, so the video quality would lose a little, but by doing this, you are downloading the original, try it, it won’t hurt you 😛
